Mini-Beast Tea Party

To celebrate the end of our Wriggle and Crawl topic - on Friday 27th May the children will be having a Mini-Beast Tea Party. This will be held along side the Grasshopper class in the morning. The staff will be providing mini-beast themed nibbles. Children may come to school in Mini-Beast fancy dress. This could be as simple as butterfly wings, black and yellow for a bee or all green for a caterpillar. Throughout the week the children will be making Hungry Caterpillar necklaces and headbands.
Please can we ask that the children don't come dressed in Superhero or Princess/ Frozen dresses.

Wriggle and Crawl Home Tasks

Before we start our topic Wriggle and Crawl we'd love to hear the children's ideas about it. We'd also like them to make a mini beast of their choice for us to add to our display.

Minibeast Hunt
Our first book to start our topic is going to be 'Mad About Minibeasts', we'd love the children to explore their surrounding areas to find what mini-beasts live near us.
