Please see below the amended letter for parents and acrers regarding strike action from the Local Authority- this should be refered to instead of the letter previously sent home (letter from Mr.Coole about Darran Park specifically is still correct and can be found in the previous blog post below if needed) . Please see below a letter for parents and carers regarding strike action and how it will affect our school next Wednesday. The Local Authority letter referenced in the below information is in the process of being amended and a further letter from them will be published as soon as possible- please disregard the print out of the Local Authority letter that was sent home today. Thank you. 
If your child does not receive free school meals and you think you may be entitled, please complete the online application form on the Council’s website (Free School meals - Apply for free school meals | Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (rctcbc.gov.uk).
Only by making a successful application for Free School Meals will you be eligible to automatically receive other support for your child(ren) such as Welsh Government funded school holiday payments (in lieu of Free School Meals) for Christmas holidays and February half term. To receive this financial support during the school holidays you must apply and be entitled to free school meals, even if your child already receives a Universal Primary Free School Meal (currently available to all Reception learners, then year 1 and eligible nursery learners from January 2023). Please be vigilant for the symptoms highlighted in the following poster. Thank you.
