We discussed how there are different languages and different ways of communicating. We also learnt about Hellen Keller and then learnt to sign using the British Sign Language.
Owls class had fun keeping in time and creating a tune using African instruments.
As part of our natural disasters topic, we created a flood defence using Lego Wedo.
This term our topic is all about natural disasters. We will be learning about volcanoes, earthquakes and floods. We will have an opportunity to research other natural disasters such as avalanches, blizzards and tornadoes.
We used cardboard tubes wrapped around our joints to see whether we could drink, clap, wave, walk and jump if our joints had their movement restricted. |
