Some of the school council presented an assembly to all of the juniors this week to start our new playground pals scheme. The school council have decided that they would like there to be special monitors on the yards to help make sure every pupil is happy and not alone at breaktime. So, they have ordered uniforms and playground signs, as well as created their own playground pal manifestos and undertaking the assembly (with their own PowerPoint presentation too!). Now we need to read through all of the manifestos and decide on our selection! ![]()
We carried out our own anti-bullying survey this week which we typed up using Hwb. take a look at it via the link below...
We have set ourselves three main targets to consider this year. Target 1 is to help implement the Digital Competence Framework in our school. Target 2 is to help improve boys' writing in our school. Target 3 is to look into pupil wellbeing and aim to improve it where we can, in relation to attendance, anti-bullying etc. To see these targets in more detail, check out our action plan.
Take a look at the action plan we have set out for this year... We held our school council elections this week and we were very professional! We wrote school council manifestos which we presented to our classmates, and then held a blind ballot where pupils voted for who they thought should be elected at our polling station. It was a big success and our new school council members have been elected! Congratulations! |
