Well that's the first term in the Drgonflies Class completed and what a busy term it was! This term we will be beginning to prepare your children for their move to Year 3 and the national tests that will take place in May. It is very important that you help your child with their homework and listen to them read as much as possible. Whilst it is important that your child reads their home reading book it is would be invaluable for them to read other forms of texts as well eg comics, information books etc. Later in the term I will begin to send home practise materials for the tests home so your child can be as familiar as possible with how they are set out. We are not going to stress the children out over the tests and I just think that if they see papers often they not see them as something out of the ordinary. If you have concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to see me before or after school. You could also ring school, leave me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Thank you in advance for you support Mrs Smith
