What will home learning look like if I need to self-isolate or children are unable to come to school?
As you know, there has been a need for all schools in Wales to close due to Covid-19 precautions. During this time, we would like to provide opportunities for children to continue their education at home and we are planning tasks and activities that pupils can access via distance learning apps and websites.
Your child will be provided with usernames and passwords for several of these websites and apps (this may be sent home on paper for those in school, but they will be available for children via digital means if pupils are already self-isolating). User guides for parents can be found below and methods of contacting teaching staff will also be available to support families in using these resources on each classes' page.
Home learning grids will be provided every fortnight to provide a range of activities and tasks to complete at home. They will signpost where to access tasks/activities and will also suggest some activities to complete every day. Work will be 'handed in' digitally as children complete the work and teachers will be able to view and comment where needed. If you need more resources, please see below to see a range of other sources of resources and information which can support you with home learning.
