Welcome to the Spider Class

Spiders are currently learning about Christmas and are very much focused on engaging in Christmas craft that helps support fine motor skills and enjoyment. We are very busy indeed as we also learn about other special events that crop up throughout the year e.g St. David's Day (Welsh Week), Mother's Day and Easter etc. All that we do is done through a 'play' based approach to learning, that also incorporates many other vital skills such as, turn-taking, sharing resources and interacting with other adults and children.
We do this in many practical ways that allow us to fully engage in each step of the learning process.
All that we do can be seen by following us on our school Twitter page. Mrs Young tries to put as many photographs as possible on the Twitter page just so you can see exactly how we spend our time at school.

Class Information
We each have a Home/School Communication book that is used to pass on important messages between parents and teachers. Please check them regularly.
All children will require a morning and afternoon snack as well as their lunch (unless you wish for your child to have a school dinner).
We learn through a sensory approach and will probably get messy during our school day. It is your choice to purchase school uniform or not.
We are currently benefitting from Music Therapy every Thursday which the children absolutely love!
