School Council trip to the Senedd

12/1/2016

On Wednesday 6th January all of the School Council went on a very important trip to the Welsh Assembly Government building called the Senedd in Cardiff Bay. We held our own meeting using microphones, and also talked about the kind of things the Welsh Assembly Government talk about like safety, weather and money.

On our visit we saw a new law for not being allowed to smoke in cars where there are children.  This Law had the Queen’s signature on it with a wax stamp.  We also had a tour of the building and saw all the rooms where our Government make some important decisions for Wales.

All the School Council enjoyed, it was a very interesting trip. We learned lots and we would love to go back again.
