The school council's trip to the Senedd

We went to the Senedd today and had the privilege of holding a school council meeting in the very fancy Ty Hywel chamber! We sat in comfortable leather seats and had personal microphones that we had to speak into when it was our turn to talk. We really enjoyed discussing the topic of homework and made interesting points. Olwen, our guide, was impressed by how well we undertook the meeting and how sensible we were. We then had a tour around the Senedd itself and did a quiz in the building's classroom... and to top it off it didn't rain! Hooray! What a fabulous day and the school council represented Darran Park Primary brilliantly- da iawn!
